yes, this is technically more indie rock than electronic. yeah, the thom yorke comparisons are there, though not as bad as muse. and the music is good. i’d like to just post the entire album actually. the entire thing flows from track 1 to 10. which is rare these days. Creed and other date rape rock lovers will not enjoy…

just saw Gran Torino, it was to be expected…great. of course it assumes that you find Archie Bunker to be a humerous. Also, the Gran Torino song that ends the movie is a perfect end to the film. Don’t look it up, just go see it.
Also, Battlestar Galactica tonight at the alamo drafthouse (anderson lane) at midnight.
And finally i see Morrissey is coming to Austin again. At the Bass Music Hall too. Which is where i saw the Magnetic Fields a couple years ago.

The Fifth Gallery will be hosting the Probable Kause art show Friday Night. Work will include pieces by El Uno Nuevo and DENSO 05 - They have some great urban art in store for you 305 e.5th street, Downtown Austin TX.
This will postpone the usual Fridays @ The Fifth jam sessions until next friday January, 30. IF you want to take part in the open jam message us..beatmakers, mc’s and dj’s welcome- plug and play.

artist: evil nine genre: electro-house, but really discorock
evil nine is coming to austin, but not to a club that i have ever been. i can’t figure out the odd the location.
ugghh..it is on a friday. i like evil 9, it will be a dj gig. maybe i’ll wait till they come back to a venue/parking lot i like.
WARNING: from what i understand (1st hand accounts of friends) this club is truly awful. you may be turned away at the door if you look weird. don’t take my word for it.
good dupstep. on the dub and ambient side, which i dig.
